An Overview of Our Design Process

The overall design process is the same for all of the projects that we do whether they are for the web or for print. First, following our free consultation, we gather content and research your specific needs. Upon approval of our proposal, we begin the design process and work with you to create the perfect design for your project. Finally we implement that design and supply you with the files needed to get your project published. We will help you at any point along the way to find website hosting and commercial printers to execute your designs. Below is more detailed information on our website design process.

Our Custom Website Design Process

Step One—Content Gathering and Research

When you contact us, we will schedule a free consultation to discuss your website design needs. In this meeting, we will discuss the purpose of your website, your target audience, other websites that you like the look and functionality of and specific details relating to your website.

Next we take the information we've learned from the meeting and formulate a proposal or multiple proposals based on your needs.

Then, we send the proposal to you for review along with step by step instructions that detail what content we will need from you. If you are happy with the proposal, we will send you a contract and ask for half of the total cost of the site as a down payment to begin work on your site. We will work with you to make sure we have everything we need to start your website design.

Step Two—Design

Once we have all of the content we need for your site we will begin the design process. We will create a mock up of the website using image manipulation software based on your content and our research. We will then submit that mock up to you in .pdf format for review and ask you for changes or approval. We will submit up to three unique designs to you for review under the advertised rate.

Step Three—Development and Testing

Once we have an approved design, we will build your site using a combination of HTML, CSS, Java Script, PHP, and Flash technologies depending on our proposal and agreement.

We will then test you site in all of the major internet browsers including Internet Explorer 7, Internet Explorer 8, FireFox, and Safari.

Step Four—Go live

Your site will be uploaded to a temporary location while you also review and test it. Upon your final approval and last payment, your site will go live. Once your site is live, we will submit it to MSN Search, Yahoo, and Google search engines.

3 Deep Studios does not currently provide website hosting, but we will be happy to work with you to find the best web hosting provider to suite your needs; we will help you set up a hosting account and we will upload your files at no additional cost.
